The Optima Sliding Sash Accoya Window
This window has been developed to replicate the section sizes of the majority of traditional sliding sash windows through the ages. It is well suited to replacing sash windows in conservation and protected areas retaining narrow frame sections, existing sightlines and box dimensions.
Its has a slimmer depth than the Ultimate Sliding Sash and supports 20mm double glazing, although this still provides an excellent thermal barrier of approximately 1.4 W/m²K. There is a compromise between planning authority and ensuring character & style and building control wanting the most efficient and effective solution.
